Love at first sight

Can you imagine how in love with Mary Joseph was? Mary was sinless-so amazingly holy. She had no jealous or impure thought in her existence. Some of us are extremely attractive at moments because it's evident Christ is in us and we radiate with holiness. But those are just for moments. Mary was always radiant with love, beauty, purity, and holiness. Her body was meant to be the first tabernacle upon which the Lord was to first dwell. Talk about radiance. Mary is infinitely beautiful. Imagine Joseph's first reaction to seeing her. That must have been love at first sight!

The Eternal Novel

God's imagination and creativity is so vast and immeasurable. There is so much mystery to the Eucharist. There is so much detail to our human history; to our salvation history. Every detail is so carefully planned out and so beautifully intertwined with other details. There is no greater author in all history who could've written such a capturing story, I can do nothing but standd in awe as the Lord grants me with more wisdom and knowledge. And as I turn the page of each chapter of this mysterious faith, I join a host of saints before me, whose disovery of this eternal novel led them to holiness.

My God, My God, I love you!

This is a simple saying, yet it means so much! Christ needs our love, in fact, He demands our love. He says, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." Christ loves us with the most Perfect Love, so shouldn't we atleast try to love Him the same way back? Obviously, we are just humans, and we will never be perfect. But like all the saints before us, we sure as heck can try! Christ deserves our most perfect love that we can offer Him because of the love that He has shown us. No other human on this earth should recieve the love that we should have for Christ. How hard is this, though? So very, very hard, but Christ definitely smiles and blesses those upon whom atleast try. If you find yourself, like I so often do, not feeling like you can love Him enough, pray and ask that you may have this love for Him. If it is your true desire to deeply love Him, but you just don't feel like you are doing a good enough job, Christ will grant you your desires. "Ask and you shall recieve." Mary is a beautiful model of this indeed! A mother's love is so perfect for her child, and Mary was free of sin, so she was able to love Christ wholeheartedly. She was able to gaze upon his face and fall in love with every inch of His body and soul. We should strive to do the same, especially when we are in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Ask Mary to pray for you so that you may be granted more perfect love for her son. "The way to a man's heart is through his mother." And what a Sacred Heart He has! : )

Love is patient, love is kind

This is my new blog everyone. I have kind of wanted one for a while because I have observed many for quite a few months now. And I love to share my faith and myself, too, so why not do so you all can see! I named the blog love is kind because that scripture verse is my favorite one. My constant prayer is that I may love everyone with the same love that Christ has for us all so that I can be a little piece of him here on earth. And His love is so awesome. I am just now beginning to touch the tip of the ice berg of the love He has for me and for others. I am so in love with the Eucharist and the Lord is constantly revealing new things and inviting me to dive into the mystery of this beautiful sacrament. Lately, He has showed himself more clearly to me throught His most Sacred Heart. I would say that I have developed a devotion to the Sacred Heart. And the Sacred Heart is full of the most Perfect Love, so it all is working out for me! I just got a Novena to the Sacred Heart and it rocks my socks off! The Sacred Heart is such an awesome mystery that I am really exited to unfold! Ok, well, this is all I have time for for now!
